All open enrollment training courses are held based on enrollment.
Although MLD will do its best to hold all scheduled training courses,
no warranty or guarantee of any kind is made regarding holding any
training course. If a class is cancelled by us, students will be given
the option of receiving a refund, transferring to the next available
date or to an internet training course at no charge.
MLD assumes no
liability for cancellation of courses
for any reason or no reason whatsoever. Any ancillary costs related
to the student taking a class (including but not limited to: Airfare,
any travel costs, hotel, per-diem, mileage, lost employee wages or
salary) are the sole responsibility of the student. If a class is cancelled,
MLD’s liability is limited to the amount
of the registration fee ONLY.
MLD reserves the right to dismiss any
student from class for disruptive or
inappropriate behavior. We understand that in many situations, students
may need to be in contact with their offices on an occasional basis.
Please be courteous to the other students and the class instructor
and instruct your employees to make these calls ONLY during a break
or at lunch. During class all students are required to mute or turn
off pagers/cell phones.
Students who are disruptive or exhibit inappropriate
behavior will be removed from class and
NO REFUND OR CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED.
Open enrollment courses have maximum
registration limitations based on regulatory
requirements. All registrations are taken based on a first registered,
first served basis and then based on pre-payment of registration fees.
Any course that reaches the maximum enrollment limit will be handled
as follows:
When a class reaches its maximum capacity, registrations
that are pre-paid will be guaranteed
a course seat. All students that are registered but have not made payment
will be given an opportunity to provide payment via a credit card.
All registrations that are not paid in advance are subject to cancellation.
All students who do not successfully pass the final exam will be
given 1 additional chance to pass the exam. A passing grade is 80%
or better. Students who fail the exam a second time will be required
to re-register for the course, complete any time requirements (if applicable)
quizzes and exams, and pay the normal registration fee for the course
a second time.
